How it is calculated
Age reached in the year = year − birth year. Age on 1 January is one less, except for people born on 1 January; age on 31 December equals the age reached that year.
Example
Inputs: Date of birth = 1990-05-15, Year = 2,040. Result: Age you turn that year: 50 years; Your birthday: Tuesday, May 15, 2040 (2040-05-15); Birthday weekday: Tuesday.
Limits and caveats
- A 29 February birthday is shown on 28 February in common years.

How old will I be in 2030 if I was born in 1995?
You turn 35 on your birthday in 2030 and are 34 before it.
Does it work for past years?
Yes. Any year after your birth year gives the age you reached in it.
Why is my age different on 1 January and 31 December?
Your birthday falls between them, so you gain a year during that year.
