How to use it
- Enter trip distance, rate per km, number of trips, return trip and parking and tolls.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Total distance = distance × (2 if return) × trips. Reimbursement = total distance × rate per km + parking and tolls.
Example
Inputs: Trip distance = 350 km, Rate per km = 0.8, Number of trips = 1, Return trip = no, Parking and tolls = 0. Result: Reimbursement due: 280.00; Total distance: 350 km; Distance part only: 280.00.
Limits and caveats
- The rate per km is set by your employer or tax authority; the default is only an example.
- Tiered rates after a set distance are not applied.
