Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter number of movers, hours, hourly rate per mover, truck hire, distance and price per km.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Labor = movers × hours × hourly rate. Transport = truck hire + distance × price per km. Materials = boxes × price per box. Total = labor + transport + materials + other costs.
Example
Inputs: Number of movers = 3, Hours = 5, Hourly rate per mover = 50, Truck hire = 300, Distance = 20 km. Result: Total cost: 1,290.00; Labor: 750.00; Truck and distance: 340.00.
Limits and caveats
- Default prices are examples only, so enter the real quotes for your city.
- Insurance, lift fees and permits are not included unless you add them under other costs.
Questions about this tool
How do I estimate the hours?
Ask the mover for their estimate for your home size, then add an hour if stairs are narrow or the lift is small.
Which currency should I use?
Any. The calculator assumes no currency, so enter every price in the same one and the result follows it.
What if the quote is a flat price?
Put the flat price in truck hire and leave labor and distance at zero.
