How it is calculated
First occurrence = 1 + ((target weekday - weekday of the 1st + 7) mod 7). Occurrence n = first + 7 × (n - 1). Last = last day - ((weekday of last day - target + 7) mod 7).

Inputs: Year = 2,026, Month = May, Weekday = Sunday, Position = Second. Result: Date: Sunday, May 10, 2026 (2026-05-10); Day of the month: 10; Sundays in the month: 5.
Limits and caveats
- A fifth occurrence does not exist in every month; you then get a message with how many times the weekday occurs.
Questions about this tool
What is the difference between fourth and last?
They are the same date when the weekday occurs 4 times that month and differ when it occurs 5 times.
When is the second Sunday of May 2026?
10 May 2026, because the first Sunday that month is 3 May.
Can I use it to schedule a monthly meeting?
