How it is calculated
Price per kg = bag price ÷ weight. Daily cost = price per kg × daily kg × pets. Monthly = daily × 365 ÷ 12. Bag lasts = weight × 1000 ÷ (daily grams × pets).
Example
Inputs: Bag price = 120, Bag weight = 10 kg, Daily portion per pet = 250 g, Number of pets = 1. Result: Monthly cost: 91.25; Daily cost: 3.00; Yearly cost: 1,095.00.
Limits and caveats
- It covers food sold by weight only, not treats or supplements.
- The right daily portion comes from your vet or the pack label, not from this tool.
