How to use it

  1. Enter text, phrase length, minimum repeats and phrases to show.
  2. The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
  3. Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.

How it is calculated

The text is split into sentences, then every run of n consecutive words inside a sentence (an n-gram) is counted. Share = phrase count ÷ total phrases × 100.

Example

Inputs: Phrase length = 2 words, Minimum repeats = 2, Phrases to show = 20. Result: Most repeated phrase: القهوة العربية; Its count: 3; Total phrases: 12.

Limits and caveats

  • Phrases do not cross a sentence end, so two words in different sentences are not a phrase.
  • Different forms of the same phrase are counted separately.

Questions about this tool

Why look for repeated phrases?

Repeating the same wording weakens style, and finding it lets you rephrase. It also helps review long-tail key phrases.

Why are some phrases missing from the table?

The table shows only phrases that repeat at least the minimum number of times. Set it to 1 to see every phrase.

Does punctuation matter?

Full stops and other sentence-ending marks break a phrase; commas do not.
