How to use it
- Enter durations (one per line) and a plain number such as 45 means.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Each duration becomes seconds (hours × 3600 + minutes × 60 + seconds); the seconds are summed and turned back into hours and minutes. Average = total ÷ count.
Example
Inputs: A plain number such as 45 means = Minutes. Result: Total (H:MM): 8:20; Total in decimal hours: 8.3333 h; Total in minutes: 500 min.
Limits and caveats
- Minutes and seconds inside a duration must be between 0 and 59.
- The average is rounded to the nearest second for display.
Questions about this tool
How do I add 1:45 and 2:30?
Put each on its own line. The total is 4:15, that is 4 hours 15 minutes or 4.25 hours.
Can I separate values with commas?
Yes. New lines, spaces, commas (Arabic or English) and the + sign all work.
Why does the total not reset after 24 hours?
It adds durations, not clock times, so 30 hours shows as 30:00.
