How to use it
- Enter length, width, height and linear size limit.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Linear size = length + width + height. Inches = total ÷ 2.54. Volume in liters = length × width × height ÷ 1000.
Example
Inputs: Length = 75 cm, Width = 50 cm, Height = 30 cm, Linear size limit = 158 cm. Result: Linear size: 155 cm; In inches: 61 in; Volume: 112.5 L.
Limits and caveats
- 158 cm is a common checked-bag limit but not universal, so check your airline.
- Measure with wheels and handles, since airlines include them.
- Cabin bags often have a limit for each dimension separately.
