How to use it

- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
teaspoons = grams ÷ 4 g and tablespoons = grams ÷ 12 g, from the source: 1 tsp = 4 g, 1 tbsp = 12 g. The spoon measure is rounded to the nearest 1/4 teaspoon. For metric spoons the weight is multiplied by the volume ratio: 5 ÷ 4.929 for a teaspoon and 15 ÷ 14.787 for a tablespoon, about 1.4% more.
Example
Inputs: Weight = 10 g, Measuring spoons = US spoons (as in the source). Result: Teaspoons: 2.5; Tablespoons: 0.83; As a spoon measure: 2 1/2 tsp.
Limits and caveats
- The spoon measure is rounded to the nearest 1/4 teaspoon; the decimal count is more exact.
- It assumes active dry yeast at 4 g per teaspoon; instant yeast can differ a little per spoon.
