Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.

How to use it

  1. Enter departure date, local departure time, departure utc offset, arrival date, local arrival time and arrival utc offset.
  2. The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
  3. Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.

How it is calculated

Duration = (arrival time − arrival offset) − (departure time − departure offset), offsets in hours from UTC.

Example

Inputs: Departure date = 2026-10-01, Local departure time = 10:00, Departure UTC offset = 3 h, Arrival date = 2026-10-01, Local arrival time = 14:30. Result: Flight duration: 6:30 h:mm; In minutes: 390 min.

Limits and caveats

  • Enter each city's offset in effect on the travel date, allowing for daylight saving time.
  • Scheduled times usually include taxi time on the ground.

Questions about this tool

Why not just subtract the two times?

Each time is in its own zone. Riyadh 10:00 to London 14:30 is 6:30, not 4:30.

How do I enter India or Iran time?

Use decimals: India 5.5, Iran 3.5, Nepal 5.75.

What if I land the next day?

Set the arrival date to the next day, as shown on your ticket.
