How to use it
- Enter weight.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
cups = grams ÷ 226. tbsp = cups × 16, tsp = cups × 48, metric cups = cups × 236.59 ÷ 250. The kitchen measure is rounded to the nearest 1/4 tsp.
Example
Inputs: Weight = 250 g. Result: US cups: 1.11 cups; Tablespoons: 17.7 tbsp; Teaspoons: 53.1 tsp.
Limits and caveats
- The chart gives 113 g per half cup, so a cup here is 226 g; exactly 8 oz would be 226.8 g.
- The kitchen measure is rounded to the nearest 1/4 tsp, and chart figures to the gram.
- Metric cup (250 mL) and spoon values are scaled by volume from the 236.59 mL US cup figure.
