Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter text and strict (spaces, case and punctuation count).
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
In normal mode spaces, punctuation, diacritics and tatweel are removed and case is ignored (أ إ آ become ا), then the text is compared with its reverse. Strict mode compares the text exactly as typed.
Example
Inputs: Strict (spaces, case and punctuation count) = no. Result: Palindrome?: Yes; Cleaned text: amanaplanacanalpanama; Reversed: amanaplanacanalpanama.
Limits and caveats
- Normal mode treats أ إ آ as one alef, but keeps ة and ه, and ى and ي, distinct.
- It checks characters only, not whether the sentence makes sense.
