How to use it
- Enter net study time, focus session length, short break, long break, long break after every and start time.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Sessions = ceiling(study time ÷ session length). Breaks = sessions − 1, of which long = floor(breaks ÷ sessions per long break). Total time = study + breaks.
Example
Inputs: Net study time = 180 min, Focus session length = 25 min, Short break = 5 min, Long break = 15 min, Long break after every = 4 sessions. Result: Focus sessions: 8; Short breaks: 6; Long breaks: 1.
Limits and caveats
- The last session may be shorter so the study time matches exactly.
- The 25, 5 and 15 minute settings are a common default; change them to suit your focus.
