Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter investment amount, stake the investor gets and existing shares (optional).
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Post-money = investment ÷ stake. Pre-money = post-money − investment. Share price = pre-money ÷ existing shares; new shares = investment ÷ share price.
Example
Inputs: Investment amount = 500,000, Stake the investor gets = 20 %, Existing shares (optional) = 1,000,000. Result: Pre-money valuation: 2,000,000.00; Post-money valuation: 2,500,000.00; Price per share in the round: 2.
Limits and caveats
- Assumes the offered stake is measured on a post-round basis, which is the usual convention.
- Does not add a new option pool or SAFE conversions, so the real share price may be lower.
