How it is calculated
The text is split into characters as a reader sees them (a letter with its marks, a whole emoji), then their order is reversed for the full text or per line.

Limits and caveats
- Reversed Arabic letters may join differently, because a letter changes shape with its position in the word.
- Punctuation is reversed with the letters, so brackets end up on the other side.
Questions about this tool
Do diacritics stay with their letters?
Yes. Each letter is reversed together with its marks as one unit, so a shadda or fatha never moves to another letter.
What is the difference between the two modes?
Whole text puts the last line first. Each line keeps the line order and reverses the characters inside every line.
Can I reverse words instead of letters?
