Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.

How to use it

  1. Enter text and square style.
  2. The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
  3. Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.

How it is calculated

Outlined: each letter becomes U+1F130 plus its position (0 to 25). Filled: U+1F170 plus position. Small letters use the same symbol as the capital.

Example

Inputs: Square style = Outlined ๐Ÿ„ฐ. Result: Styled text: ๐Ÿ…‚๐Ÿ„พ๐Ÿ…‚; Characters changed: 3.

Limits and caveats

  • These are Unicode symbols, not a font: screen readers may read them as symbol names or skip them, and in-app search may not match them.
  • Unicode has no squared small letters or digits, so small letters become capitals and digits and Arabic stay as typed.

Questions about this tool

Why did small letters turn into capitals?

Unicode has squares for capitals only, so the tool uses the capital symbol for each small letter.

Why do filled squares look colored on some phones?

Some of them, such as ๐Ÿ…ฐ ๐Ÿ…ฑ ๐Ÿ…พ and ๐Ÿ…ฟ, have an emoji presentation on many systems, so they show in color.

Can digits go inside squares?

Unicode has no squared digits of this kind, so digits keep their normal shape.
