How it is calculated
The combining long stroke overlay U+0336 is added after every character except line breaks, including spaces unless you choose to skip them.

Limits and caveats
- The line is a Unicode combining mark added after each character, so screen readers may announce it per letter and search may not match the text.
- The font draws the line, so some apps show gaps or a slightly shifted line, especially with joined Arabic letters.
