- I copied the product and price columns from Excel into a WhatsApp message and got big uneven gaps; how do I fix that?Excel separates columns with a tab, and chat apps show it as a wide gap. Convert tabs to spaces with space collapsing on, and each tab becomes a single space.
- The system I'm uploading to wants Windows line endings; which option do I choose when downloading?Choose CRLF under 'Line endings for copy and download' and the file gets Windows line breaks, with existing CRLF pairs never doubled. Why it stays LF otherwise.
- My product list indents sub-items; how do I clean double spaces without losing that indentation?Untick 'Trim whitespace at the start of each line'. Collapsing never touches leading spaces, so indented sub-items stay indented while double spaces between words go.
- I'm worried cleaning will ruin my original product description; can I undo it?Your text only changes when you press 'Apply to input'; first you see a preview and a count per rule. After applying, 'Undo' brings the old text back, with one catch.
- How can I see which spaces, tabs and hidden characters are in my text before I clean it?Turn on 'Show invisible characters in the preview': a space shows as a dot, a tab as an arrow, a non-breaking space as ⍽ and a line end as ¶. Marks are never copied.
- Why isn't Word's find-and-replace of two spaces with one enough to clean my text?Find and replace needs repeating for runs of three or more, and it misses non-breaking spaces and line-edge spaces. The whitespace cleaner handles each case in one pass.
- How do I sort my product price list from most expensive to cheapest?Put the price at the start of each line, turn on numeric sorting and choose descending. Real examples of why 9 lands above 120 without numeric sorting.
- I sorted weights like 1.5 kg and 1.25 kg and 1.5 came before 1.25; how do I fix that?Numeric sorting reads the digits after the decimal point as a whole number, so 5 beats 25. Write every value with the same number of decimals, such as 1.50.
- After sorting my customer names, a few names jumped to the top out of order; why?Usually a hidden space at the start of the line. Turn on ignore leading spaces to sort from the first visible letter, or strip the spaces with the whitespace cleaner.
- Should I use the sorter's remove-duplicates option or the duplicate line remover? The sorter drops exactly identical lines while it sorts. The duplicate remover can ignore diacritics and spaces and keeps the original order. When to use which.
- I sorted my shipping cities alphabetically and every city starting with Al- ended up grouped at the top; why?The sorter compares the whole name and does not skip the Arabic article, so Riyadh, Dammam and Khobar all file under alef. When that helps, and how to avoid it.
- How do I sort a list of orders by date from oldest to newest?Start each line with the date as year-month-day, such as 2026-01-20, and alphabetical order becomes chronological. Day/month/year sorts by day and mixes months.
- Is the customer name list I sort sent to any server? No. Sorting runs in your browser with its built-in ordering rules, and the list is never uploaded or stored. Here is how to check that yourself in a minute.
- After sorting, blank lines appeared at the top of my list; where did they come from and how do I get rid of them?An empty line sorts before any text, so every blank line gathers at the top. The remove-empty-lines option drops them; a line that stays hides an invisible character.
- For my English product names on Amazon and Noon, should I capitalize every word or just the first one?Three ways to case an English product name: title case, title case with small words kept lower, and sentence case. Compare them in seconds; the platform's guide decides.
- The English customer names in my orders file are all in capitals; how do I turn them into normal names for shipping labels?Paste the names one per line and pick title case: AHMED AL-SAYED becomes Ahmed Al-Sayed. Plus the names, like McDonald, that still need a quick check by hand.
- How do I convert my whole customer email list to lowercase before uploading it to my email marketing tool?Choose lowercase and every Latin letter goes small while dots, @ signs and digits stay put. A normalizing step that turns capitalized copies into easy-to-remove repeats.
- I typed a whole English paragraph with Caps Lock on and the letters came out reversed; how do I fix it without retyping?Invert case flips every capital to small and every small to capital, which restores exactly what you meant, city and brand names included. Arabic and digits stay put.
- How do I turn spreadsheet column headers like Product Name into snake_case keys for code or an API?Paste one header per line and choose snake_case: Product Name becomes product_name and brackets or symbols are dropped. Plus when camelCase suits JSON keys better.
- I switched an all-caps announcement to sentence case and names like Noon and Riyadh became lowercase; how do I avoid that?Sentence case knows no proper nouns. From all caps the names are lost and need a quick manual fix; from normal text, untick lower the rest and your names stay as typed.
- Is the text I convert sent to a server or stored on the site? No. The conversion uses the case rules built into your browser and runs on your device, so nothing is uploaded or stored. Safe for customer names and unpublished copy.
- I have a list of discount codes written inconsistently; how do I make them all uppercase before adding them to my store?Paste one code per line and choose UPPERCASE: Latin letters go capital, digits and hyphens stay, and an Arabic code stays as is. A changed-characters count confirms it.
- I'm adding search over Quranic verses on my site; which diacritic groups should I strip from the search copy while keeping the displayed text intact?Keep the displayed text untouched and build a copy for matching only. Default groups plus the superscript alef make الرحمن match; Uthmani sources need one more group.
- My vocalized Arabic message exceeds the SMS system's character limit even though it's short; will removing diacritics shorten it?Each vowel mark is a character of its own, so removing them cuts code points and bytes while the reader sees the same text. Real example: 32 code points down to 19.
