How it is calculated
Grams = volume in mL × 1.2934 g/mL. The density comes from USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy, "Milk, canned, condensed, sweetened"): one US cup (236.59 mL) of sweetened condensed milk weighs 306 g. 1 oz = 28.3495 g.
Example
Inputs: Amount = 1, Measure = US cup (236.6 mL), Density = 1.2934 g/mL. Result: Weight in grams: 306 g; Weight in ounces: 10.79 oz; Volume in millilitres: 236.6 mL.
